We had a great draft on Wednesday, August 27, 2008.
KTLA came for news coverage that will air nationally on the CW on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 5:50am and repeating at 7:45am. Eastsidaz participated in the draft from NYC via webcam, and the three Mitches took care of us like pros. (FYI, Mitch is short for “Man Bitch,” but it’s totally dignified and respectful).
At first I was psyched about my team, but now I’m a little uneasy. Turns out I wound up with a lineup that included a TE that dropped down to third on the depth chart thanks to a coach who is less predictable than the weather and cares what people think as much as OJ Simpson does, (but makes me feel better about having to make some commish calls). I wound up doing an add/drop within 24 hours, which is a record even for me! I also have a starting RB with a knee that looks as good as that new Diane Lane/Richard Gere movie, though what can I really expect with pick #20?
But I think I’m in good shape… I mean after all, I have Colston!!
